Gregory Konotopetz, DMD
Dr. Greg Konotopetz was born in Regina. He was raised in Weyburn where he graduated high school in 1975, receiving the Tommy Douglas Scholarship and was accepted into Dental College in Saskatoon after only one year in pre-dental Arts & Science. He graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan faculty of Dentistry in 1981. He received the Academy of General Dentistry Award recognizing proficiency in general dentistry He operated a very successful office in Weyburn Saskatchewan for 22 years where he was active in the community and inducted onto Weyburn’s “Wall of Fame”. His move was prompted by his desire to fully utilize his extended training in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ, implants and orthodontics. He also still practices general dentistry. He has consistently pursued quality care and continued learning. He is a graduate of the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Studies and the Misch International Implant Institute.
Dr. Greg Konotopetz is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology as well as a charter member of the Western Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been honored for his contributions to dentistry by being awarded Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International. He is currently a part-time faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry. To stay up to date with the latest techniques, Dr. Konotopetz continues to take continuing education courses in Implants, TMJ, Orofacial and Craniofacial Pain, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Konotopetz recently completed a mini-residency course on TMD/Craniomandibular Dysfunctions and Sleep Disordered Breathing as well as a Head and Neck Anatomomy with Dissection course.
His office – Signature Smiles Oral Wellness Centre, Regina, provides a variety of General Dental care procedures, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic dentistry, including implants (both surgical and restorative phases) TMJ therapy, and orthodontics.
